Creating relevant keywords
The main factor in the successful and inevitable promotion of the site is keywords. They determine the relevance of the site pages in relation to search phrases. Below are the rules by which keywords can be used most effectively.
Rule #1 Never use keywords that are not related to the content, just to attract visitors. And here's why:
- This way, you will be able to attract visitors, but as soon as they realize that your information does not correspond to what they would like to see, they will immediately leave the site.
- You will not be able to get a good place for this keyword in any case, because your content does not reflect the relationship to these words.
Rule #2 Do not use too many keywords in the content of one page. If your content contains 10-20 popular keywords, it will not mean at all that you will have a high ranking in search engines. 2-3 adjacent highly relevant keywords will be excellently promoted. The ideal option would be one key per page and there are more such pages .
Rule #3 Before deciding on your keywords, it doesn't hurt to do a little research. Remember that these words are a vital part of your website. There are several excellent free tools to help you make the right keyword selection. For example, the keyword suggestion tool from Google and keyword statistics from Yandex.
Rule #4 Don't forget to insert keywords into meta tags. This matters when displaying a description of your content in a search engine.
The presence of keywords or the absence of them plays a big role in assessing the relevance of your site pages by search engines. Their quality/quantity can promote or lower your site in the search results. If you really want to be the best, then use keywords in your content wisely and purposefully. The traffic to your site, and, consequently, the success of your business, directly depends on their proper use.
